چکیده
In this paper we present an overview of CMDragons 2010, Carnegie Mellon’s entry for the RoboCup Small Size League. Our team builds upon the research and success of RoboCup entries in previous years. The overview describes both the robot hardware and the general software architecture of our team. Technical improvements include a new attacker control system, a short-term physics-based motion planner, and an experimental system for inferring opponent state from ball dynamics observations.

RoboDragons 2006 Team Description
After two years of joint project with the CMDragons, the RoboDragons starts new team this year. In this paper, we describe the new RoboDragons system. The RoboDragons has two software systems that can use interchangeably. One of which, we call it the A-system, is the improved version of the system originally developed by CMDragons, the other, the B-system, is the one developed by RoboDragons. I...
متن کاملCMDragons 2015 Extended Team Description
The CMDragons team placed second out of twenty-one teams in the Small Size League of RoboCup 2014. In this paper, we present the team’s recent work on the offensive and defensive tactics, low level skills, and state estimation. Among the offensive tactics, we introduce the concept of contingency options for teams of robots in the presence of uncertainty via zone-based, and support attack. We in...

We present our Small Size League (SSL) robot soccer team, CMDragons, which performed strongly at the RoboCup’13 competition, placing second out of twenty teams after a prolonged final match ending in penalty shoot-outs. We briefly present the robots’ hardware and individual skills, and then focus on our multi-robot passing, attack, and defense planning and execution in the challenging SSL adver...
متن کاملCMDragons 2015: Coordinated Offense and Defense of the SSL Champions
The CMDragons Small Size League (SSL) team won all of its 6 games at RoboCup 2015, scoring a total of 48 goals and conceding 0. This paper presents the core coordination algorithms in offense and defense that enabled such successful performance. We first describe the coordinated plays layer that distributes the team’s robots into offensive and defensive subteams. We then describe the offense an...
متن کاملMulti-robot team response to a multi-robot opponent team
Adversarial multi-robot problems, where teams of robots compete with one another, require the development of approaches that span all levels of control and integrate algorithms ranging from low-level robot motion control, through to planning, opponent modeling, and multiagent learning. Small-size robot soccer, a league within the RoboCup initiative, is a prime example of this multi-robot team a...
